Lac Bleu & Lac Buclet
Lakes & swimming
A few kilometres from the chalet along the greenway, Lac Bleu is a small, crystal-clear lake at the foot of the Le Vert cliffs, with picnic tables and little jetties where children watch the fish. Carry on along the greenway to Lac Buclet, a former gravel pit turned 13-hectare lake and now a Natura 2000 site, then the Cascade de la Pisse waterfall 20 minutes further on. A flat loop of about 9 km, ideal for a family morning, with an all-terrain buggy or by bike.
- Summer
- Open access, 24 hours a day. Lac Bleu loop waymarked by the tourist office from 1 May to 31 October.
- Winter
- Closed in winter · reopens in May

Lac Bleu: Route du Plan, hamlet of Le Vert, 38520 Le Bourg-d'Oisans (free car park “Parking du Lac Bleu”, 955 Le Vert); Lac Buclet: Buclet, 38520 Le Bourg-d'Oisans (parking by the lake). Start of the waymarked loop: tourist office, 31 quai du Dr Girard, 38520 Le Bourg-d'Oisans.
Set off from the chalet on foot or by bike along the greenway rather than by car (in summer the small free Lac Bleu car park, at 955 Le Vert, has few spaces), bring water and a cap for the sunny stretches, keep dogs on a lead (Natura 2000 site) and remember that swimming at Buclet is unsupervised.
