Mineral museum (Musée des Minéraux)
Village & essentials
Housed in the attic of the Saint-Laurent church, five minutes' walk from Le Cosy Lodge, the former Musée des Minéraux et de la Faune des Alpes has become GALTA, the Galerie des Trésors Alpins (Gallery of Alpine Treasures). Inside you'll discover the Oisans' signature crystals (quartz, axinite, epidote), an immersive show on Alpine wildlife through the seasons made with the Écrins National Park, and a comic-strip trail about life in the mountains. A visit of just under an hour that children love, perfect for a rainy afternoon.
